Our sprinkler system design department is expert in designing wet pipe fire sprinkler systems, dry systems, deluge systems, pre-action systems and more to meet NFPA, insurance, BOCA codes and local fire department standards. They work with our sales department to estimate cost efficiency and design systems to be the most cost effective for our customerts and general contractors. The design staff has many years of experience in pipe design, hydraulic calculation, and coordination that meets the customer's needs, while being cost effective.
Dennis Dowd, Our design manager has 25 years experience as a designer. He has worked closely with local fire departments, insurace representatives, building owners,general contractors, and sprinkler fitter foreman and installers to make cost effective designs that work and function well in almost every type of building. His experience incompasses every kind of building, from aircraft hanger to chemical plants to warehouses and mall stores. His on the job experience is second to no one else in the fire protection business. Dennis is a NICET LEVEL designer. Feel free to contact him to discuss your fire protection needs. Rich Wade has been a sprinkler system designer for 35 years. His work in all phases of fire protection been a real asset to the company for the last 10 years. He was designing sprinklers for other area contractors for many years before Gateway was even an idea. He has worked for other fire protection contractor, general contractors and building owners throughout the St Louis area. Rich is looking forward to the life of gentleman farmer, hunter and fisherman when he retires.
Eric Hoffman is the newest addition to the Gateway family and will take us into propelling Gateway's resources well into the 21st century. A business graduate from Southeast Missouri State University. He has already improved the E-mail communication advances that the company has improved since he has been with us in his first 6 months. He has been attending sprinkler design coarses, working on our new cad system and bringing our communication into a new and faster level. He is applying the newest technology to our industry. With the supervision and guidance of our experienced design staff, we look to bring the best new services to our customers.
